Refund and Cancellation Policy

It is your right to refuse any aspect of Jodi’s services and to seek the service of another provider at any time.  There are no refunds on services provided.  Jodi does not guarantee outcomes or results. 

Missed appointments that are not rescheduled outside of the 48-hour window are NOT re-offered.  This means that if you paid for your problem to be solved, your missed session counts as one of the series.  

Single sessions are not a normal practice at Canadian Hypnosis and are offered at Jodi’s discretion.  All packages are booked in blocks of four (4), five (5) or ten (10).  Blocks of four (4) and five (5) sessions must be used within 6 months of payment. Blocks of ten (10) and twelve (12) sessions must be used within 18 months of payment.  There are no refunds given for unused sessions or sessions that have expired.

Payment

Payment is required within 48 hours of receiving the contract, or the sessions will be cancelled until payment is received.  

Payment can be made by e-transfer to Jodi@FamiliesDoRecover.com (No password needed), cash or major credit card.  

International Clients will receive either a PayPal invoice with a direct link to pay via PayPal or an invoice with a credit card link.  Please specify which you would prefer.

All fees are subject to 5% GST, and all funds are Canadian Dollars (if you are located in Canada).

Clients will not be able to schedule a session if there are funds owing. 

Limits of Confidentiality of Information

Clients have the right to expect that information revealed in session is not disclosed without extraordinary justification.  The conditions that justify the release of information, and by law must be reported to the appropriate agencies, are the following:

1. Knowledge of child abuse or neglect.

2. Knowledge of elder abuse or neglect.

3. A client poses a serious risk of harm to self or another person.

4. A client is at risk of suicide.

5. By court order or subpoena.

In other situations, a signed authorization for release of information is required.  If this is required, you will be asked to sign a release form. 

Release of Liability Agreement:

I personally know of no case on record where an individual has been harmed using these methods.  I do know of thousands of cases where people of all walks of life have benefited greatly from the use of these methods.  As a general practice, it is necessary for everyone taking part in private sessions, classes, workshops, and seminars with Jodi Takhar to sign this Release of Liability Agreement.  

Jodi Takhar is not a medical doctor, psychiatrist, or psychologist.  She does not have the authority to pronounce any medical or mental health diagnosis or prescribe medication.  

Agreement:

I am of legal age, and in consideration of my acceptance as a participant in this private hypnosis session, seminar, or workshop, I, for myself, my heirs, my executors, administrators, and assignees, do hereby release and discharge Jodi Takhar, Canadian Hypnotherapy, from all claims of damages arising from, or growing out of my participation in said activities.  I agree that any claim of damages or disputes arising from my participation in counselling sessions, seminars, workshops, or events, should it arise, shall be settled by binding arbitration before an extra-judicial arbitration and mediation service selected by the parties.
